Top Super Eagles players and their state of origin

Nigeria has a plethora of outstanding players, such as Victor Osimenh, Chukwueze, and Odion Ighalo, to name a few, who have been in excellent form and are assisting their respective clubs.

Let's look at the top Super Eagles players and their state of origin:

1.Stefano Okaka Chuka (Italy):

Stefano Chuka is a super eagles player who was born in Italy to Nigerian parents from Onitsha, Anambra State. Okaka later got Italian citizenship as a result of his parents' Italian citizenship.

On November 18, 2014, Stefano Okaka made his senior debut for the Italian national team. He went on to feature in four (4) senior games and score one goal.

He is presently a striker for Udinese, an Italian top-flight club.



2.Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor (Togo):

Emmanuel Adebayor, the 2008 African Footballer of the Year, was born in Togo to Nigerian parents of Yoruba origin.

He continued by saying that he still considers himself a Nigerian because his parents are from Osun state, and that he just represented Togo for his profession.

In 87 appearances for the Togo national team, Emmanuel Adebayor scored 32 goals. In Paraguay, he is presently playing for Olimpia.

3.Sydney Sam (Germany):

Sydney Sam was born in the United States to a Nigerian father and a German mother. He was a member of the German national team.

On May 29, 2013, he made his senior debut for Germany in a friendly against Ecuador. Sydney Sam is presently playing for SCR Altach in Austria.
